“For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.”
I am the most impatient person you'll ever meet. I hate stability and I hate feeling stagnant in absolutely any capacity. I love learning, I love listening and I love living amongst compelling and complex cultures. I've lived in India, Ethiopia and all over Australia and am as comfortable there as I am in New York. I am obsessed with Africa; I interned with the United Nations there. That experience broke and reconfigured me; file it under the most soul defining time of my life. But I'm not done, and humanity's not done. There are still stories untold and my camera is purely a tool to document that.
What inspires me? This job! Seriously, nothing else provides me with such a colourful wealth of people and experiences. I have African friends, I have American friends, I have Asian friends; I have so many demographics of friends and my only wish is for us to sit down all one day and hang out together—it'd be the most wildly inspiring conversation.
